Workshop: Pinsel, Paula und die plaudernden Häuser
In anticipation of the book Pinsel, Paula und die plaudernden Häuser (Pinsel, Paula and the Chattering Houses), James Skone, Alexander Mayer and I conducted a workshop with the school Integrative Werkstatt Brigittenau. We explored the Viennese Secession and the Museumsquartier, after students had drawn their own visions of those buildings during a reading. When the book was completed we had a larger workshop at Dschungel Vienna together with trained actors and pedagogues, engaging the city through movement, dance and untimely by slipping into buildings’ shells.
